Sylkia J. Cartagena is Editor at FIPP – Connecting Global Media. She’s been working in the media industry for 15 years now and has a keen interest in all things innovation, especially in storytelling and tech. Sylkia holds a Master’s Degree in Communication for the Fashion and Beauty Industries from Vogue and the University Carlos III in Madrid. Previous to FIPP, she worked for five years in Consumer Marketing at Condé Nast Spain and spent eight years specialised in marketing for the music industry. Born in Puerto Rico, she moved to Madrid to pursue her career in media and is currently based in London.
