This project is a non-fiction poem that take place in an airport from 8am to 1:45pm during a series of flight delays. The story advances as the reader clicks on the screen, with each click updating an hour/minute/second clock displayed in the center of the screen. Passages are tied to specific times, which correlate to updated flight delay information. Clicking through time is meant to replicate the boring, repetitive cycle of waiting in an airport, while also representing how, in jail, waiting cannot involve total drifting or mindlessness, but needs a somewhat constant awareness of your body and the bodies of others.
